The annual campaign shines a light on the Meals on Wheels program.
OXFORD COUNTY - March for Meals is back for another year in Oxford County.
VON Oxford was able to provide 11,585 meals to over 280 clients last year through the Meals on Wheels program. This month they will be taking part in a variety of activities that are apart of the March for Meals campaign. The organization is looking for a wider community to get involved in learning more about the program or how to get involved.
Manager of Home & Community Care, Robin Kish says it takes many people to keep the services with VON going.
"We can’t thank our 180 volunteers enough for giving so generously of their time to support our clients and families. We are very fortunate to have such incredibly caring volunteers as a part of our VON family."
