The province will lift the mask mandate for hospitals tomorrow, but the Woodstock Hospital says it will still require all staff, patients and visitors to mask up.
WOODSTOCK - Masks will remain mandatory at the Woodstock Hospital.
The province is set to lift most of the remaining mask mandates tomorrow, effecting hospitals and public transit services across Ontario.
But in a statement posted on the Woodstock Hospital Facebook page yesterday, the hospital says it will continue to require universal masking for all staff, patients, and visitors. It says the decision is in alignment with other hospitals in the region.
The London Health Sciences Centre, St. Joseph's Healthcare London, and St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital have also announced that masking protocols will remain in place within their facilities.
