WOODSTOCK/INNERKIP - Nobody was injured and no animals were harmed after a massive barn fire just outside of Woodstock.
Fire crews rushed to the 16th Line, between Oxford Road 33 Breamar's Side Road late this morning. Crews were able to contain the blaze to the one barn. The fire is still active with flames and hot spots, however crews are working to make sure it doesn't spread to other areas of the farm.
The barn is going to be a complete write off. It was being used to store straw and did not house any animals. No word on a damage estimate at this time. Oxford OPP did put out a release today and noted the fire is not considered suspicious in nature. When OPP arrived on scene with members of the Innerkip, Bright, Drumbo, Tavistock and Hickson Fire Department's, the barn, which was filled with straw, was engulfed in flames.
