Terri-Lynne McClintic was in court today, on an assault charge in relation to the beating of an inmate at Kitchener's Grand Valley Institution for Women. McClintic testified to the assault, that happened in January, at the 1st degree murder trial of her former boyfriend Michael Rafferty. According to CTV Kitchener, McClintic's lawyer says she will plead not guilty to the assault. A trial date will be set next Wednesday. McClintic admitted on the stand to the assault under cross examination by Rafferty's Lawyer, Dirk Derstine. McClintic agreed that she had kicked and stomped an inmate while she lay in the fetal position. The trial on the assault charge will have no bearing on the life sentence she is serving for the murder of 8-year-old Tori Stafford.
