Frontline health care workers in Canada can get a free medium coffee or tea from McDonald's this month as a gesture of appreciation.
McDonalds Canada is offering free coffee and tea to all frontline health care workers in the month of January.
The offer also extends to vaccine volunteers, pharmacy workers, military personnel, emergency services and medical testing centre workers. They are entitled to a free medium coffee or tea at participating restaurants across Canada. You will just need to show the person at the drive-thru your valid work ID to cash in on the free gift.
Senior Director Gemma Pryor says this is just a simple gesture of appreciation to our frontline staff protecting the country.
"Our purpose at McDonald's is to feed and foster communities and this effort is aimed at acknowledging those who are doing so much to care for our communities right now. Throughout the pandemic we saw our franchisees finding creative ways to support their communities in times of need and that's what we're seeing again here today with the free coffee offer."
