INGERSOLL - A case of measles exposure has been reported at Alexandra Hospital Ingersoll.
Southwestern Public Health i(SWPH) is warning people who were in the waiting room and the Diagnostic Imaging Department from 9:35 a.m. to 1:35 p.m. on Wednesday March 19th.
Measles is highly contagious and it can linger in the air for up to two hours. If you were there and you were born in 1970 or later, you should call the health unit if you're not up to date on your vaccinations. The phone number is 1-800-922-0096.
If you have been exposed or are showing symptoms of the virus, you should call ahead before visiting a healthcare setting.
