Shingles vaccine, Flu Shots and doctor recruitment were all discussed during the Medical Centre's Quarterly report to Norwich Township.
NORWICH - Norwich Council recieved a report from the Norwich Medical Centre.
CAO Kyle Kruger says the report detailed the ongoing effort to attract doctors to the area.
"Well certainly that's one of the key initiatives for our municipality and all of Oxford is we do have that physician recruitment group that goes through a number of efforts in its campaign as mentioned to try and attract more physicians to the area."
The free shingles vaccine is also still available for some people according to Kruger.
"Certain individuals - those aged 65 to 70 - are eligible to receive that shingles vaccine through a publicly funded immunizations program. That is certainly still available for individuals."
And although the report did mention flu vaccines, the shots are not quite ready yet.
