Construction season is far from over and drivers will be forced to follow detours as road work continues in Ingersoll, Woodstock and Tavistock.
OXFORD COUNTY - There will be a couple of road closures throughout the region over the next few weeks.
There will be hard road closures starting today at Bell St. between McKeand St and Cashel St/Union St and John St.
Lane restrictions between Scourfield Dr and McKeand St/Cashel St and Union St/John St and Thames St will also start today.
Detours are in place until October 31st. Access to these areas will be for local traffic only.
The Public Works department of Oxford County says there will be two road closures happening in Woodstock and Tavistock as well soon.
Oxford Road 35 between Huron St. to Wellington St. will see Viewcon Construction doing water and sewer work between October 1st to 4th.
The Oxford Civil Group will also be doing sanitary sewer work on Hope St in Tavistock, between Fuhr St. to Holly Ave.on September 30th.
That road will be closed until October 5th.
