Woodstock Navy Vets head coach Peter Crosby has resigned after only a couple of games behind the bench.
WOODSTOCK - The head coach for the Woodstock Navy Vets has resigned.
Peter Crosby tendered his resignation on Sunday after only coaching a couple of games for the Navy Vets. Darren Young will take over behind the bench on an interim basis.
The Navy Vets are confident that he will get the team back on track for a successful season.
Navy Vets President Devon Young will be joining his brother on the bench.
The team will hold its first practice under Darren Young on Tuesday as they prepare for three games in 2 1/2 days this weekend. The Navy Vets host Burford at home on Friday and 7:45 p.m. and travel to Delhi on Saturday night before heading to Norwich for a Sunday afternoon tilt.
