The Navy Vets will host the Rockets tonight and visit the Redhawks tomorrow night.
WOODSTOCK/CAMBRIDGE - The Woodstock Navy Vets have two games scheduled for the Thanksgiving long weekend.
They will kick everything off with a home game against the Strathroy Rockets tonight. The puck will drop at 7:45 p.m. at Southwood Arena and it's also Breast Cancer Awareness Night, so fans are encouraged to wear pink to show their support.
The Vets will also be in Cambridge tomorrow to face the Redhawks. That game will get underway at 7:00 p.m. at Galt Arena Gardens.
Woodstock is currently in a five-way tie for fifth place in the Western Conference standings. The Vets have eight points so far and the same goes for the Listowel Cyclones, the Elmira Sugar Kings, the LaSalle Vipers, and the Komoka Kings. The London Nationals are in fourth place with nine points, while the St. Thomas Stars and Chatham Maroons are tied for second place with 14 points each. The St. Marys Lincolns sit on top of the standings with 16 points.
The Sarnia Legionnaires are at the bottom of the standings with zero points, while the Strathroy Rockets have three points and the Stratford Warriors have four points.
