The Woodstock Navy Vets return home after a tough three game road trip.
WOODSTOCK - The Woodstock Navy Vets are hoping a little home cooking will cure what ails them right now.
The Navy Vets were the hottest team in the league winning 7 straight before suffering three road losses in a row during a tough part of the schedule that saw them play three games in three nights. President Devon Young says the team is excited to get back in front of their home fans.
"We really enjoy playing in Woodstock in front of our fans, so I think it's huge, our game is also built for our Olympic size ice here in town so getting back into a big rink where we can let our speed do the talking will be important as well."
They take on Wellesley tonight and they will honouring Remembrance Day at the game by selling t-shirts with the proceeds going towards veterans. The Navy Vets are 9-7 on the young season and currently sit in 4th place. Puck drops at 7:45 tonight in Woodstock.
