The schedule has been released for the upcoming Jr. C hockey season, which features a few new wrinkles. With plans to merge the Jr. C and D leagues in the next couple of years, there will be some games between C and D teams. The Tavistock Braves will play Woodstock once, home and away. Meantime, the Thamesford Trojans will do the same against Norwich. The other change is that Caledonia is now playing as the St. George Dukes, which was a Jr. D team. The Woodstock Navy Vets will host their training camp next week. They will open their pre-season at home against Aylmer on September 4th. They'll open the regular season with a home game against Paris on Friday, September 14th.
