The City of Woodstock, the Town of Tillsonburg, and the Town of Ingersoll will be hosting their Santa Claus Parades this weekend. The three municipalities always host their parades on the Saturday after Remembrance Day.
The Ingersoll Rotary Christmas Parade will kick everything off at 11:00 a.m. The theme is Santa's Workshop and the parade will start at the corner of Wilson Street and Mutual Street, before it makes a right onto St. Andrew's Street. From there it will make a left onto Thames Street and another left onto Canterbery Street, before turning right onto Wellington Street and proceeding to Cross Street before ending at Harrisfield Public School.
The Woodstock Santa Claus Parade and the Tillsonburg Santa Claus Parade will both begin at 6:00 p.m.
The Tillsonburg parade is hosted by the Tillsonburg and Area Optimist Club. It will start Avondale Church before it goes up to Oxford Street, cuts down Bidwell Street, passes by Tillsonburg Hospital and Woodingford Lodge before heading down Broadway, and ending at the staging area on Brock Street.
Woodstock's parade is hosted by the city, and the theme is A Very Disney Christmas. The parade will start at the Woodstock Fairgrounds, before turning right onto Dundas Street. It will continue along Dundas for quite some time, before turning right onto Light Street and ending at Victoria Park.
