STRATFORD - No one was hurt when a car crashed through the front window of a Stratford bank.
The TD Bank at 865 Ontario Street was busy yesterday afternoon around 1 p.m. when the car driven by a 67 year old came through the front window. The driver says he thought he was hitting the brakes, but hit the gas by accident.
The City of Stratford Engineering Department checked out the building and say it is still structurally sound, but $10,000 in damage was done.
The car sustained mainly front end damage - the estimated damage rings in at $3,500.
