Environment Canada climatologist David Phillips says Toronto has only had about a quarter of the snow it usually has by this time of year. He says the mild, and generally snow-less winter, has been noticed in many places across Canada this winter. However that's about to change over the week-end here in Woodstock and Oxford County. The weather agency says an Alberta clipper is quickly approaching our region bring along with it gusting winds and accumulations of 2-4 centimeters today and stronger winds with additional snowfall tonight. Phillips says Environment Canada is calling for February to be warmer than normal as well.
