NORFOLK COUNTY - Norfolk County OPP officers raised over $22,000 for the Special Olympics during the Polar Plunge.
Officers jumped into the frigid waters of Lake Erie at Turkey Point on Saturday. Freezing for a reason was the theme and hundreds of people came out to cheer them on. The OPP actually live streamed the entire event which you can watch below:

A special Olympian actually showed up, and the OPP officers kept their word going back in for a 5th time.
You asked and we delivered! We had a Special Olympic athlete arrive at the end of the plunges so we went back into #LakeErie for the 5th time. A BIG #ThankYou to everyone that participated and donated @SOOntario. Have a great weekend everyone. @NorfolkCountyCA #NorfolkOPP ^es pic.twitter.com/wYXu4Rjnhf
