It could be a long time before a 17 year old in Woodstock gets his parents car again after getting caught doing 175 km/h in a posted 60 km/h zone.
WOODSTOCK - Woodstock Police clocked a 17 year old novice driver doing 175 km/h in a posted 60 km/h zone last night.
This is the second stunt driving charge police have issued in the past two days. Constable Marco D’Annibale says police are imploring the community to please slow down on the roads and talk to the young drivers in your family about the dangers of speeding.
“Two stunt driving charges in two days is unacceptable. Every driver on the road has the responsibility of keeping our roads safe.”
The minimum fine for stunt driving is $2,000, six demerit points and a court date. The vehicle was towed from the scene.
