There are three goals highlighted in the Oxford County Library's Strategic Plan for 2024-2028.
OXFORD COUNTY - The Oxford County Library has unveiled its Strategic Plan for 2024-2028.
It includes three key goals for the next four years: Sustaining Service Excellence, Innovating Access to Service, and Growing Engagement and Member Relationships.
It also includes a pledge for Truth and Reconciliation so it can provide a welcoming and inclusive space for Indigenous Peoples while recognizing the knowledge, teachings, languages, and cultures of Turtle Island.
Board Chair Julia Harris says library officials will be referring to the Strategic Plan while forming the budget and business plans over the next few years.
"The Strategic Plan represents our shared vision for a vibrant and diverse future for Oxford County Library, founded on cooperation and active community involvement. It provides a clear path to inspire individuals, encourage innovation, and enhance relationships with the community we serve. The plan is based on extensive research and involvement of stakeholders and is in line with local priorities to ensure we remain responsive to the needs of our community."
