An Oxford OPP officer was injured during an arrest in Ingersoll Wednesday night. Around 10:30 pm, police responded to a complaint of a suspicious person in the area of Tunis Street. The man was located and during the arrest, assaulted the officer resulting in injury. The officer was taken to the hospital where he was treated and released. 23 year-old Jason Serrano of no fixed address was charged with assault with intent to resist arrest and breach of probation. He was held in custody for a bail hearing today.
