A Waterloo Region police officer living in Oxford County has been sentenced for professional misconduct. Christopher Knox was sentenced yesterday for obstruction of justice and breach of trust by a public officer. Knox was alleged to have taken naked pictures while on-duty and shared them with other officers. Police say the photos were taken without the person's knowledge. Knox also admitted to asking another Constable to destroy evidence from his locker. Knox received a conditional sentence including counseling and 50 hours of community work. He will also face a hearing under the Police Services Act which could cost him his career as a police officer.
