One person has died after a small plane crash on a private property east of the Brantford Municipal Airport yesterday evening.
BRANT COUNTY - The Transportation Safety Board has been called in to investigate a small plane crash in Brant County.
Police say the plane crashed on a private property east of the Brantford Municipal Airport yesterday evening. One person was taken to hospital and later passed away.
Constable Conrad Vitalis posted a video statement on the OPP West Region Twitter page at around 9:30 p.m.
"We ask that you keep your thoughts and prayers with the family of the deceased as officer notify them of the horrific news. Also the first responders who attended to the scene, if you could keep them in your thoughts as well."
The identity of the victim has not been released at this time as police notify their friends and family.
