The Instant Quest for Gold tickets highlight seven Ontario athletes including Tillsonburg's very own Charlotte Bolton.
TILLSONBURG - The Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLG) is supporting Ontario's athletes ahead of the Olympics and Paralympics this summer.
It will be featuring seven amateur athletes on its Instant Quest for Gold tickets and Tillsonburg's very own Charlotte Bolton is one of them.
All of the profits from Quest For Gold will help support key government priorities, including support for amateur athletes. The same goes for all lottery tickets sold by the OLG.
Chief Lottery and Customer Officer Nancy Kennedy says the OLG is proud to support Canadian talent.
"OLG remains dedicated to supporting and promoting Ontario’s Quest for Gold athletes. This year’s $2 Instant Quest For Gold game highlights seven of Ontario’s high-performance athletes, including Olympians and Paralympians whose journeys have been made possible with help from Quest for Gold funding. This is just one of the many ways OLG champions amateur sport in Ontario."
Bolton qualified for the Paris Paralympics over the weekend, after she threw her sixth lifetime best in the Women's F41 Discus Para Amb.
This will be her second time competing for Team Canada on the world stage. She placed 6th in the Women's F41 Shot Put and F41 Discus at the Tokyo Paralympics back in 2021.
The Paris Paralympics will get underway on August 28th and the Olympics are scheduled to begin July 26th.
