A 47-year-old Woodstock resident is facing several charges resulting from a pair of break-and-enter incidents. One suspect remains outstanding.
WOODSTOCK - The Woodstock Police are investigating a pair of break and enters.
Yesterday (Tuesday, March 5th), reports of two incidents came into the Police, of a business in the area of Springbank Ave near James Street being broken into, with various items including a generator being stolen.
The incidents were said to have occurred on Sunday (March 3rd) with one suspect involved, then again in the early morning hours yesterday involving two people.
Yesterday at 10:25 p.m. an officer noticed a suspect involved in both incidents walking on Ingersoll Ave with the stolen generator.
As a result, the 47-year-old Woodstock resident was arrested and is now facing a list of charges, which includes; breaking and entering into a place, with the intent to commit an indictable offence, possession of property obtained by crime under $5000, possession of a schedule I substance – methamphetamine, and possession of a schedule I substance – fentanyl.
The second suspect is still being looked for by police and is described as a white male wearing dark clothing, jogging pants, a coat, a baseball hat, and a backpack.
