Police say one man from Woodstock was taken to hospital with serious injuries after an assault occurred at a home on Norwich Avenue last night. Police say the man is currently in stable condition.
WOODSTOCK - Woodstock Police's Criminal Investigation Branch (CIB) is investigating an assault that occurred over the weekend.
It happened on August 9th at approximately 10:00 pm at a home on Norwich Avenue.
A 22 year-old man from Woodstock was taken to hospital with serious injuries. He is currently in stable condition, according to police. They say the people involved knew each other.
Police say they are still in the early stages of the investigation and more information will be provided at a later date.
