Oxford OPP have charged one person with operation while impaired following a traffic stop on King Street in Ingersoll.
INGERSOLL - One person has been charged following a traffic stop on King Street in Ingersoll.
At around 2:00 a.m. on October 15, the Oxford detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) was patrolling in Ingersoll when they initiated a traffic stop.
While speaking to the driver, the investigating officer observed signs of intoxication, and a roadside-approved screening device (ASD) test was administered. The driver was then taken into custody and transported to the OPP Detachment for further testing.
A 25-year-old man from Ingersoll has been charged under the Criminal Code operation while impaired, having a blood concentration over 80.
