Engaged couples in Ingersoll can now apply for their marriage licenses online through Service Ontario.
INGERSOLL - A new pilot program with Service Ontario will make it easier for engaged couples to get married.
Select municipalities across the province will now be able to apply online for their marriage license, and Ingersoll has been selected as one of the municipalities to test out the new program.
The process is quick and easy, applicants can upload all required documentation without hassle.
Oxford MPP Ernie Hardeman says improving customer services is very important to their government.
“I’m pleased that Ingersoll was chosen to participate in the pilot, providing a great experience to soon-to-be-married couples here, and being part of a project that ultimately, will benefit couples across the province.”
The online application minimizes errors and saves time for everyone while reducing paperwork for both the municipality and the applicant.
