ONTARIO - The Province of Ontario has confirmed 554 new cases of COVID-19 this morning, bringing the total number of cases in the Province to 571,332.
Due to a data clean-up, 5 of the 16 deaths being reported today occurred more than 2 months ago, meaning the total number of deaths remains at 9,569. Another 770 cases have been labelled resolved, bringing the total number of resolved cases to 555,723.
The province completed 21,840 tests yesterday. We currently have 375 people hospitalized with COVID-19, 347 are not fully vaccinated or have an unknown vaccination status and 28 are fully vaccinated. 194 people are in ICU and of those, 186 are not fully vaccinated or have an unknown vaccination status and eight are fully vaccinated.
