We currently have 10,106 active cases of COVID-19 in Ontario after the Province 1,388 new cases today and 781 recoveries.
ONTARIO - For the 5th day in a row, the Province of Ontario is reporting over 1,388 new cases of COVID-19.
Today, Ontario confirmed 1,388 new cases of the virus, bringing the total number of cases in the Province to 86,783.
Ontario also reported 15 new deaths related to COVID-19 today and the total now sits at 3,260. Meanwhile another 781 people have made a full recovery, bringing the total number of resolved cases to 73,417.
The province completed 29,125 tests yesterday. We currently have 422 COVID-19 patients in the hospital and 82 are in the ICU. Most of the new cases are coming from area hotspots with 520 new cases in Toronto, 395 in Peel, 100 in Ottawa and 72 in York Region and 50 in Niagara.
