LONDON - The province is expanding GO train service to Southwestern Ontario.
You'll be able to take a GO train from London to Toronto starting October 18th and there will be stops in St. Marys and Stratford on the way.
Metrolinx will only be offering the service on weekdays. One train should leave London early in the morning and take about four hours to get to Union Station. Another train will also return to London later in the evening.
Minister of Transportation Caroline Mulroney says people in Southwestern Ontario deserve better access to a safe and reliable transportation network.
“Under Premier Ford’s leadership, we are taking concrete action and keeping our promise to extend much-needed GO service all the way to London for the first time.”
This pilot project is an extension of GO Transit's Kitchener line.
