Oxford OPP and the Woodstock Police are teaming up for a two day join Forces Traffic Safety Initiative or Operation Zero, starting on Wednesday.
OXFORD COUNTY/WOODSTOCK - Oxford OPP and Woodstock Police are teaming up for a Joint Forces Traffic Safety Initiative.
Operation Zero will take place on Wednesday and Thursday this week. OPP and WPS officers will be keeping a close eye on the roads with a focus on safety. Officers will be focused on Woodstock tomorrow, and then moving to County roads on Thursday.
They will be looking for speeders, distracted drivers, people not wearing a seat belt and aggressive drivers.
This Joint Forces Traffic Safety Initiative will be conducted on a quarterly basis with another two-day blitz in the spring.
