OPP Briefs

Briefs include a Woodstock man charged with drinking and driving and cocaine possession and a stolen SUV in Delhi.

Norfolk OPP have arrested a Woodstock man after pulling over a car on Highway 24 in Townsend. 

Police say the vehicle caught their attention late Friday night. After investigating police charged the 23 year old driver from Woodstock with drinking and driving, speeding and possession of cocaine. 

The 21 year old passenger in the car, a 21 year old man from Brant County was also charged with possession of cocaine and having open liquor in the car. 

Both are to appear in Provincial Court, Simcoe at a later date to answer to the charges.

DELHI - Norfolk OPP are investigating after a Chevy Tahoe was stolen from a home on Main Street in Delhi. 

Police say the SUV was taken on Friday morning from the driveway of the home. The stolen vehicle is a red 2004 Chevrolet Tahoe. It was also carrying a large amount of tools. 

If anyone has any information regarding this incident, they are being asked to contact the Norfolk County OPP detachment at 1-888-310-1122.
