NORWICH TOWNSHIP - A 47 year old man from Norwich Township might be walking for a bit.
Police say the charged the man with impaired driving on Saturday night, just before midnight. The man was charged after putting his vehicle in the ditch on Rest Acres Road in Brant County.
The accused will appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Brantford at a later date to answer to the charges. If convicted, the offender will be subject to the Criminal Code penalties, including a fine or jail time, and a driving prohibition.

NORFOLK COUNTY - Norfolk OPP officers may have well saved a life on Sunday night after responding to a call about a 36 year old man in medical distress.
Officers arrived on scene and identified that the male was in medical crisis from what appeared to be an opioid overdose. Officer's immediately administered Naloxone when the male began to breathe.
He was then transported by ambulance to a local area hospital where he was treated by attending physicians. Detachment Commander for the Norfolk OPP, Inspector Joseph Varga is urging people to get help, if you need it.

DELHI - Oxford OPP found a stolen truck that had been stolen from a home in Delhi burnt to a crisp.
The 2009, Dodge Ram pickup truck was stolen from a home on Church Street East in Delhi on Saturday morning. Police late discovered it at an Oxford County address, however the truck had been completely destroyed by fire.
Police are continuing to investigate and is seeking assistance from the public. If anyone has any information regarding this incident, they are being asked to contact the Norfolk County OPP Detachment at 1-888-310-1122.

SIMCOE - A 31 year old man from Oxford County has been charged with mischief after an incident in Simcoe on Saturday evening.
Police say the man kicked down a door on Austin Crescent around dinner time. Police were called and they took the man into custody without incident. He was charged with mischief under $5,000.
The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice, Simcoe at a later date.
