It seems with every snowfall we get, OPP are having to remind drivers to slow down and drive according to the weather conditions. Police say between 6 p.m. Friday night and 4 p.m. Monday afternoon they responded to 42 collisions on area roads. From vehicles going into the ditch, to one rollover, police said they were busy investigating collisions on county roads as well as the local highways. Police report only minor injuries in any of the accidents and say they laid multiple charges including Following Too Close and Careless Driving. Constable Stacey Culbert says during poor weather conditions motorists need to maintain a safe following distance and slow down.
