OPP have closed off a portion of Highway 59 south of Norwich as they investigate a fatal two vehicle collision involving a motorcycle and a pick up truck.
NORWICH - Oxford OPP are currently investigating a fatal two vehicle collision involving a motorcycle and a pick up truck on Highway 59 south of Norwich.
Officers say a northbound motorcycle on Highway 59 collided with an eastbound pick up truck on Maple Dell Road.
The male driver of the motorcycle was transport to hospital before succumbing to his injuries. The driver of the truck was not injured.
OPP have closed Highway 59 between Airport Road and Milldale Road as well as Maple Dell Road between Pick Line and Hanmer Line as they investigate. The closures are expected to remain in effect for several hours.
