Ontario judge has denied bail to Ottawa protest organizer Tamara Lich, saying Lich would likely resume protest activities if released.
One of the key organizers of the freedom convoy protests in Ottawa has been denied bail.
An Ontario judge made the ruling this morning against Tamara Lich.
Court Justice Julie Bourgeois said she believed there was a good chance Lich would reoffend if released.
Lich was arrested on Thursday and was charged with counselling to commit mischief.
During a bail hearing on Saturday, she promised to stop her protest activities and return to Alberta if bail was granted.
