The Otter Creek Golf Club will be hosting a Frontline Worker Appreciation Day tomorrow and they still have 45 spots available.
OTTERVILLE - The Otter Creek Golf Club in Otterville is going to honour those who worked the frontlines throughout the pandemic.
It's going to host a special Frontline Workers Appreciation Day tomorrow complete with golfing and family friendly activities.
Food and Beverage Coordinator Holley Dayman says they've wanted to do this for a while now.
"About two months ago we were talking to a couple of our golfers and they were talking about how hard it is for them to get out and do things because of their hours I said we should make a day just about you guys. So we decided then that we could make one day just about the frontline workers."
They're offering a special price of $45 for 18 holes for golf for tomorrow including tax and a golf cart.
Dayman says this price will apply to all frontline workers, whether you were working in a hospital or a grocery store during the pandemic.
"Everyone goes right to nurses, firefighters and other people that are obvious but there are so many people behind the scenes who had to work as well. So we're keeping it as a vague frontline worker price. It's basically $45 tomorrow for 18 holes."
The golfing will begin at 7:00 a.m. and they still have 45 spots available. Those interested in signing up can call the golf course at 518-879-9800 and press 1 to speak with someone in the pro shop.
Otter Creek will also have lots of fun events for the whole family going on from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. including games and raffles. They will also have two food trucks on site and their beer and cooler suppliers will provide free samples to people who are of age.
Those looking for more information can call the golf course or send a message to the Otter Creek Golf Club Facebook page.
