An outbreak has been declared at the Woodingford Lodge LTC home in Tillsonburg after a staff member tested positive for COVID-19.
TILLSONBURG - An employee at the Woodingford Lodge site in Tillsonburg has tested positive for COVID-19.
The Long Term Care home was given notice about the positive case from Southwestern Public Health on Sunday. Residents and family members at the home have been notified and an outbreak has been declared. This means the long term care home will be closed to visitors.
All residents who had contact with the employee were tested yesterday and staff working in the area begin testing today. Enhanced infection and outbreak control measures have been put into place.
Woodingford Lodge sites in Woodstock and Ingersoll are not affected.
