COURTLAND - Caressant Care Courtland has seen an outbreak of COVID-19 after one of its staff members tested positive for the virus.
Haldimand-Norfolk Health Unit staff issued a media release last night declaring the outbreak.
Communications and Marketing Manager for Caressant Care Stuart Oakley says the staff member is showing no symptoms.
"One staff member has tested positive and is in 14-day self-isolation."
The health unit says residents and staff at the facility will be tested.
No other residents are sick at this time and they're in self-isolation in their rooms.
The health unit is also investigating an outbreak at the home of a seasonal farm worker.
According to the release, no positive cases have been confirmed at the worker's home.
