The County of Brant and the OPP's Highway Safety Division conducted traffic stops at several locations from May 11 -18th, issuing over 100 driving charges including speeding and stunt driving.
BRANT COUNTY - Brant County OPP handed out several driving charges during Road Safety Week this month.
The initiative took place from May 11th to May 18th.
The County of Brant and the OPP's Highway Safety Division conducted traffic stops at several locations in the County. Throughout the week, Brant OPP issued the following charges:
• 92 speeding charges
• 10 seatbelt charges
• 3 stunt driving charges
• 2 careless driving charges
• 1 distracted driving charge
• 1 fail to yield charge
• 1 impaired driving charge
• 1 driving while prohibited charge
The County of Brant OPP wants to remind drivers that safety is everyone's responsibility and it takes an effort by the community to make the County such a great place to live, work and call home.
