WOODSTOCK - Oxford Women in Networking is hosting a dinner and speaker event next month in celebration of International Women's Day.
The event will run on March 4th featuring a variety of activities and multiple speakers.
Co-chair Jennifer Boyer says they will focus on networking for the first hour of the evening.
"So we will have one solid hour where we will have appetizers available, we'll have a few trade tables setup for different community organizations. The Woodstock Zonta Club of course will be there with their roses."
She says guests will also have the opportunity to put tickets towards either wine at a wine table or prizes at the prize table.
It'll be ahead of International Women's Day on March 8th.
Boyer says everyone is welcome.
"You don't have to necessarily be a member, you can come as just kind of a patron. We are also encouraging youth to come to really show that women in the community value our youth. So tickets for youth are actually being offered, and youth being ages 15 to 29, at a reduced price of $30.00 a ticket. Regular tickets are $55.00."
She adds early bird prizes are available to be won if you register early and the early bird deadline ends today.
She says the evening will include a three-course meal and three local community speakers including Lorna Larsen. The other speakers will be Robert Alexander and Shelley Knott-Fife.
Event sponsorship is also available. You can click here to learn more about the event.
It goes from 5:00 to 9:00 pm inside the Quality Hotel & Suites in Woodstock
