Warden Marcus Ryan wants to make sure residents are getting the best service through this Water and Wastewater Master Plan.
OXFORD COUNTY - A Water and Wastewater Master Plan has been set for Oxford County.
This was one of the main topics talked about during the latest County Council meeting.
Warden, Marcus Ryan says services are all around the County and how they are maintained is a big area inside the plan.
"So, this master plan talks about how are they going to be managed to accommodate the future growth that we're going to expect. Are they going to be able to increase their capacity, and how much capacity is left in them right now."
Ryan adds there are services in the bigger areas such as Woodstock, Tillsonburg, and Ingersoll, but there are also services in smaller towns like Tavistock, Thamesford, and Mount Elgin.
He goes on to say they want to make sure residents are getting the best service.
"The most important focus is so people can continue to turn on their tap with confidence in the morning and drink that water, and they can continue to flush that toilet, and have confidence that it's going to flush and that they are going to pay a responsible bill for that."
