Its a free event and there will be over 50 vendors on site this Sunday.
WOODSTOCK - The Woodstock Rec and Leisure Fair is set to be bigger and better this year.
It's going to take over the Oxford Auditorium this Sunday with over 50 vendors in attendance. It had previously been held at Goff Hall with about 30 to 35 vendors.
Ryan Napman is a member of the Recreation Advisory Committee and he explains the reasoning behind the venue change this year.
"We moved it over to Oxford Auditorium this year from Goff Hall so we'd have a little more space for more vendors and get back to doing some of the demonstrations that we've done in the past."
Some vendors will showcase demonstrations at their booths, while others will have theirs on one of the two stages set up in the venue. Some groups will also offer raffle prizes to entice more visitors.
He says there will be opportunities for people of all ages on Sunday whether your looking for your child, your parents, your grandparents, or yourself.
"We have sports groups but we also have some different fitness clubs that will be looking for members. We have different hobby clubs so if your interested photography, gardening or things like that. We have different arts and culture vendors so if you're interested in Theatre Woodstock or the Woodstock Art Gallery. We think we have a really good mix of different groups."
There will also be some local organizations on site with volunteer opportunities.
The event will run from from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and admission is free.
Ryan Napman stopped by the Heart FM studio to chat with Dan and Marcie on Friday February 28th. You can listen to the full interview below:
