The Oxford County Animal Rescue's fundraiser goes this Saturday inside their office on 789 Dundas Street in Woodstock.
WOODSTOCK - The annual Valentine's Day bake sale and Kitty Adoption Day will be inside the Oxford County Animal Rescue office this weekend.
They'll also have up to eight kittens, ranging between six to eight months old, who will be up for adoption that day.
Rescue Director and Foster Coordinator Anna Holmes says the treats that are available are not just for people, but for pets too.
"Something that I'm doing this year as a special, we'll see how it works out, but I'm making some homemade salted caramel sauce and some homemade fudge sauce as well."
The fundraiser has been held in the past to raise money for them.
In addition to having baked goods and treats on hand for you and your pet, you can see Just Josie the Pug in the Kissing Booth.
Holmes says they always welcome people to volunteer.
"Volunteers for sure, some fosters. We're coming up on the traditional kitty season time of year and we're also looking for some board members as well."
She adds they'll be selling raffle tickets at the bake sale for their annual event March Of Days. Every day there is a draw with a corresponding prize. Tickets are $2.00 each or you can buy three tickets for $5.00.
It's on Saturday inside their office on 789 Dundas Street. It's free and will run from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm.
