OXFORD COUNTY - Oxford County announced today that Human Services, which includes social assistance, housing and children's services remains open at this time.
They have transitioned to an appointment only basis. The Ingersoll office has temporarily closed because it operates out of the closed local secondary school. Human Services has made personal contact with most of its 2,500 clients where possible and notified social housing tenants that maintenance repairs will be limited to essential ones that impact safety.
The office remains available by phone or email to Oxford County residents who suddenly find themselves in need of financial assistance, food security or housing stability.
