OXFORD - The county is looking for residents who want to make a difference in their community.
If you would like to contribute, Oxford wants engaged citizens to consider joining one of several boards and committees.
There are openings on several committees and boards including the Accessibility Advisory Committee the Agricultural and Planning Advisory Committee, the Active Transportation Advisory Committee, the Oxford County Land Division Committee, and the Oxford County Library Board.
As a board or committee member, you will provide advice and recommendations to County Council on matters that affect our entire community. There are currently 26 positions open across the aforementioned committees and boards for the 2023 - 2026 council term.
Residents interested in applying are asked to submit an application with a resume by November 25 at midnight to Oxford County clerk Chloe Senior. She can be reached at clerksoffice@oxfordcounty.ca.
