New pedestrian crossovers have been installed in Norwich and Tillsonburg.
OXFORD COUNTY - New pedestrian safety measures have been installed in Oxford County.
Norwich received a pedestrian crossover which is located at Oxford Road 18 (Main Street) between John Street and Pitcher Street. In addition, a new on-street accessible parking space has been installed near the post office.
Tillsonburg also received a pedestrian crossover located at the Oxford Road 20 and Coulthard Street slash Braun Ave intersection.
A pedestrian crossover is a crosswalk designed to notify drivers of a pedestrian crossing. They are easy to notice and have designated signs, pavement markings, cross buttons, and flashing lights.
