Oxford OPP Briefs - Wednesday January 6th

Oxford OPP briefs include a break in at the Tillsonburg Community Centre and a damaged mailbox in Norwich Township.

ZORRA TOWNSHIP - Oxford OPP are investigating after someone stole a DeWalt 20 volt cordless drill and plastic tote filled with scrap wiring from an unlocked shed in Zorra Township.

Officers were called to the break and enter while it was happening on 25th Line Monday morning.

The suspects took off in a grey car, similar to a Mazda 3, and they were last seen heading into Ingersoll.

TILLSONBURG - An investigation is underway after someone stole two championship rings from the Tillsonburg Community Centre.

Oxford OPP say the break in happened sometime Sunday night and the thieves also got away with two cellphones and a cheque.

Officers will be looking over security footage in hopes of tracking down the culprits.

TILLSONBURG - Officers are looking into a case of mischief in Tillsonburg.

Someone damaged the door of a business on Broadway Street sometime between Christmas Day and this past Monday.

The culprit didn't enter the building.

NORWICH TOWNSHIP - Oxford OPP are encouraging you to report suspicious behaviour after a mailbox in Norwich Township was damaged for second time.

It's located at the end of a driveway on Milldale Road and officers found out about the most recent incident Monday morning.

The mailbox was also damaged back in October but the homeowner didn't report it.

 

Anyone with information in regards to any of these incidents should contact Oxford OPP or Crime Stoppers.
