Drivers arrested over the weekend.
Oxford OPP arrested two people for impaired driving charges over the weekend.
Around 11:25 p.m. on Saturday, a woman was arrested following a traffic stop on Road 68 in Zorra Township.
Police say the driver had consumed an alcoholic beverage and was taken into custody for testing.
As a result, 26 year old Megan Westra of Ingersoll was charged for numerous offences.
The second incident took place around 8:00 p.m. Monday night.
A driver was stopped on Plank Line in South-West Oxford Township.
While speaking with the driver, the officer suspected the motorist may have recently used drugs.
The driver was taken into custody, and a test was administered.
Forty-eight year old Jeffrey Stamp of Norfolk County faces several charges.
Future court dates have been set for both suspects.
