Officers responded at close to 4 o'clock this morning after two men, who were believed to be armed, threatened a transport truck driver and tried to steal the trailer. They fled the scene after being unsuccessful and the driver was not injured.
OXFORD COUNTY- The Oxford County OPP are asking for the public's help after an attempted armed robbery at the eastbound Onroute Service Centre, east of Ingersoll.
Officers responded to a report in the early hours at approximately 3:55 this morning after two male suspects threatened a transport truck driver and attempted to steal the trailer.
The suspects, believed to be armed, were unsuccessful and fled the scene. There were no injuries.
