First responders were called to a collision involving a train and pedestrian this morning in Zorra Township.
ZORRA TOWNSHIP - Tragedy has struck as one person is dead following a collision in Zorra Township.
Oxford OPP along with other first responders were called to the scene of a crash involving a train and pedestrian. Crews responded at 4:30 a.m. to the rail line between 27th and 29th Line, north of Road 68. The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.
There was a road closure to protect the emergency personnel during their investigation. The roads have since been reopened. Police are asking anyone with information regarding this incident to contact the Oxford OPP or Crime Stoppers.
